This website is owned by LGBT Walnut, a not-for-profit organisation that supports LGBT people (Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexual People and Trans Women - male to female) who are affected by prostate cancer. Although lesbians cannot get prostate cancer themselves we recognise that any woman can be affected by it if a male relative or friend has it.
Personally identifiable information and how we use it
LGBT Walnut may collect personally identifiable information (“Information”) on this website. This may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or any other information that you provide that might reasonably be used to identify you individually. This Information is only collected when it is voluntarily provided by you.
LGBT Walnut may use the Information for reasonable purposes to support its aims. We may use the Information to help improve our level of service and the content of this website, to respond to requests, provide you with useful information, collect feedback and for our own internal purposes. Subject to this policy and your consent, we may to contact you, via e-mail or regular mail; consent to such contact may be withdrawn by you at any time at your sole discretion.
Your Information may be transferred for processing and use to LGBT Walnut's associates in other regions of the UK. Personally identifiable Information will not be sold or rented by LGBT Walnut to any unaffiliated third party, unless the user is first notified and expressly consents to such transfer.
We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable Information from any person that is younger than 18 years of age without the explicit consent of a parent or guardian.

Access and corrections
LGBT Walnut will make every effort to maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of any personal Information you supply to us. Under European data protection law you may request access to that personal Information. You have a right to require any inaccuracies in your Information to be corrected. Should you wish to access or correct your personal data held by us, The Data Protection Act stipulates that you must request this in writing, and that this may be subject to a fee of up to £10.
