Hormone therapy

There are different types of hormone therapy for prostate cancer. All are likely to affect your libido (your desire to have sex). They are also likely to affect your ability to get and maintain an erection.

Hormone Therapy can also cause your body shape to change. For example, your breasts might enlarge and you might get a more rounded look. Another possible effect on your appearance could be the loss of some or all of your body hair. If body hair is part of how you see yourself sexually you should ask your doctor for more information.
